It's mid-August and every parent with kids and teens knows what that means.  It's time to start shopping around for back-to-school items and supplies.  As parents of school-aged children know, most major retailers carry loads of basic school supplies but not many carry truly fun or unique items for kids. I'm talking about items that stand out from the crowd.

This is where flattenme.com comes in.  This online business specializes in uniquely personalized items and gifts for kids.  On their website you will find an assortment of fun photo items, including custom books, t-shirts, journals, BPA free water bottles and more that are perfect for back-to-school.  Flattenme's unique products have also been featured in popular media like Oprah's Gift Guide and television shows like The View and Good Morning America. 

For this review, I chose one of flattenme's featured 'Back-to-School' items; the 8 x 11 custom ABC & 123 Book from their selection of photo books.  The ABC & 123 Book from flattenme.com arrived within a week of being ordered wrapped in protective cellophane.  Through the cellophane, I could see my granddaughter's photo on the cover (as a cute little caterpillar) and her name featured underneath in the title.  Looking through the custom photo book, I also noticed that each page featured one or more photos of my granddaughter, including the back cover as well (note the cute little bat below!).  This unique book is whimsical, fun, and educational and perfect for my soon-to-be preschooler granddaughter.

The visual presentation in this book is fantastic and so much more detailed than I expected!  I am so impressed with the ABC & 123 flattenme book!  Each page is a work of art and exceptionally well done and already a cherished keepsake my family and I will hold onto.  The illustrations are vibrant and colorful and combined with the educational factor, it makes learning fun for kids.  This back-to-school book is sure to be lots of fun for little one's eager to learn!

Back-To-School learning made fun!

In the above photos you can see just a few of the colorful illustrations I found inside this personalized custom photo book from flattenme.  Each starring my granddaughter! The entire book is pretty amazing but I must admit the 'under the sea' theme is my favorite!
